1. Report Invalid Credit Cards for Reservations coming from Booking.com API
Sometimes, customers provide invalid credit card details, which can lead to payment delays or booking complications. This feature allows you to report an Invalid Credit card.
Steps to Manage the Reporting of Invalid Credit card to Booking.com:
Navigate to the "Reservations" page of the reservation you would like to modify.
Find the credit card details field.
Quickly flag invalid credit cards within the system from the icon "Report invalid credit card".
4. Guests will be promptly notified, so they can update their payment information.
Guests have 24 hours to update their credit card details. If they fail to provide a valid credit card within this timeframe or submit another invalid one, you can proceed to cancel the reservation due to the invalid credit card.
2. Cancel Reservations Due to Invalid Credit Card Details for Reservations coming from Booking.com API
In cases where a customer fails to update invalid credit card details or add again invalid credit card details for the reservation, you now have the ability to cancel a reservation due to an Invalid Credit card.
Steps to Cancel Reservation due to Invalid Credit Card to Booking.com:
Navigate to the "Reservations" page of the reservation you would like to modify.
You can cancel the reservation directly from the red button "Cancel Reservation" at the top of the page, freeing up availability for other guests.
By completing these steps, the reservation status will be updated accordingly.
