A new Teams tab is available in our Task Module, designed to give you more control and flexibility in managing your staff. With this new feature, you can effortlessly create, update, and delete teams, ensuring smoother coordination and improved efficiency.
Creating a Team
Setting up a new team is quick and easy! Follow these steps to get started:
Click the Add New button.
Enter the necessary details for each team member, including their name and unique email address.
Select the team members and assign supervisors to the team.
Once everything is set, click the Save button to finalize the setup.
Assigning Tasks
Once your teams are set up, assigning tasks becomes seamless. Here’s how you can do it:
Automation: You can add an entire team as the assignee on a task using Automation. Simply navigate to the dropdown menu, where all created teams are available for selection.
Manual Assignment: If you prefer to do it manually, click Edit from the three-dot menu in Tasks and select the appropriate team.
Team Task Assignment and Visibility
When a task is assigned to a team rather than a specific housekeeper, all members of the team will see the task on their Task App board. However, once a team member begins working on the task, it will automatically disappear from the boards of the other members to avoid duplication.
Additionally, supervisors have the ability to reassign tasks to other team members when necessary, ensuring flexibility and efficient task management.
