🛠 Import & Verify Booking.com Reservations in Hostify

Booking Verification Tool that lets you import your Booking.com export file and check for any discrepancies

Overview
Sometimes, reservations from Booking.com may not automatically sync to your Hostify account due to temporary outages or limitations in Booking.com’s API. To help keep your reservation data accurate, Hostify offers a Booking Verification Tool that lets you import your Booking.com export file and check for any discrepancies.


✅ What Does the Tool Do?

When you import your Booking.com reservations export file, the tool checks for:

  • Missing Reservations
    Bookings that exist in Booking.com but are not found in your Hostify account.

  • Status Mismatches
    Reservations marked as cancelled in Booking.com but still confirmed in Hostify.


⚙️ How to Use the Tool

  • Go to Channels → Booking.com.

  • If you have more than one Booking.com account connected, select the account you want to work with.

  • On the left side menu, click the link Booking Verification Tool.


  • Import an Excel file exported from your Booking.com extranet.

    Important: Before generating your reservation report and export file in Booking.com, change the language to English to avoid status and date parsing issues.

  • Map the corresponding columns in the import tool as prompted.

  • Once uploaded, the system processes the items in the background.

  • Reservations with discrepancies will appear at the top in a dedicated table:

    • You can force the import of the booking if it’s valid.

    • Or choose to cancel the import if the reservation has been cancelled in Booking.com.

  • Below this, you’ll see a list of all processed bookings without discrepancies.


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Booking.com API Limitations: Not all reservations may be available for import due to Booking.com’s API restrictions. The tool will attempt to import missing reservations where possible, but some data might remain unavailable.

  • Best Practice: Regularly export your upcoming reservations from Booking.com and use this tool, especially after any known system outages.
