On October 1, 2025, Airbnb is discontinuing its Strict Cancellation Policy. Below is a short description of how to change your cancellation policy in Hostify.
First, go to Listing under Settings, chose the Policies tab. There you will find the dropdown list for Cancellation Policies.
You can then chose options other than "Strict".
The "Strict" option will no longer be valid for Airbnb listings. You need to select a different option from the dropdown list, which will be synced with Airbnb and replace the existing cancellation policy set on their platform.
Note: Listings currently using the "Strict" cancellation policy will be automatically converted to "Firm" by Airbnb.
