How to Create Upsells in MrGG

The Upsells feature is part of the MrGG guest guide and allows you to display additional services such as early check-in, parking, breakfast, transfers, or other amenities that guests can request.

This helps improve the guest experience while also generating additional revenue from your properties.

It is important to know that upsell fees are created and managed in the Owner module (Listings Settings > Pricing), while in MrGG you can add photos, descriptions, and conditions for displaying them in the guest guide.

Steps to Create an Upsell

1. Create a Payment Template

Before using upsells, you must create a Payment Template that manages how payments are processed.

Open the Upsells section in the MrGG menu.

Find the Payment Templates section.

Click the New Template button to create a new template.

Then enter:

• Template Name – the name of the template

• Payment Processor – the payment processor that will handle the payments

You can select:

• Use default from settings – uses the default settings from MrGG Settings

• Stripe – if Stripe is connected as a payment method

• another available processor configured in your account

After selecting the settings, click Save.

2. Select the Properties

In the Assigned Listings section, select which properties will use this payment template.

You can:

• add all properties

• add only selected properties

• remove properties from the template

Upsells will appear in the guest guide only for properties that have an assigned template.

3. Activate an Upsell

After the payment template is created and assigned to properties, you can activate specific upsell services.

In the Upsells section you will see a list of available services, for example:

• Early check-in

• Parking

• Breakfast

• Bike rental

• other additional services

Use the GG button to enable or disable the upsell for the guest guide.

When it is enabled, guests will see the service in their guest guide.

4. Add Conditions

In the Conditions section you can define when the upsell service will be shown to guests.

Click Add condition to add a condition.

Available options may include:

• Length of Stay – duration of the stay

• Guest Count – number of guests

You can combine multiple conditions.

If no conditions are set, the service will always be shown.

After adding the conditions, click Save Conditions.

5. Add Photos

In the Photos section you can upload images for the upsell service.

Click Add to upload an image.

Photos help guests better understand what the service includes.

6. Add Title and Description

In the Title & Description section you can add information about the service in multiple languages.

Available languages may include:

• Spanish

• French

• Arabic

• Bulgarian

• English

For each language enter:

• Title – the name of the service

• Description – a short description of the service

This allows guests to see the information in their preferred language.

What Upsells You Should Offer

To increase revenue and improve the guest experience, you can offer services such as:

• early check-in

• late check-out

• parking

• breakfast

• airport transfer

• bike rental

• mid-stay cleaning

Well-described upsell services can significantly improve the guest experience.

Add clear descriptions and high-quality photos to each service. This increases the likelihood that guests will choose additional services during their stay
