Steps to Create Directions
Adding detailed directions helps guests locate the property more easily and reduces confusion during arrival.
1. Create a New Template
Click the Add button to create a new directions template.
Enter a template name and save it to begin editing the content.
2. Add Directions Content
In the Content editor, write clear instructions explaining how guests can reach your property.
You can include information such as:
the exact address
nearby landmarks
parking locations
navigation tips
public transport options
Clear directions will help guests locate the property quickly and without confusion.
3. Use Dynamic Variables
You can insert dynamic variables by clicking the placeholder button in the editor.
These variables automatically populate information such as:
property address
property city
property street
property zip code
property country
check-in time
Using placeholders allows you to reuse the same template across multiple properties while automatically inserting the correct details.
4. Add Additional Languages
From the language menu, you can add additional language versions of the directions.
This allows guests to view navigation instructions in their preferred language.
5. Assign the Template to Properties
In the Assigned Listings section, select which properties should use these directions.
You can assign the template to multiple listings at once.
If necessary, you can also remove properties from the template later.
6. Save the Template
Once you finish editing the directions and assigning properties, click Save to activate the template.

What to Include in Directions
To make it easier for guests to find your property, it is recommended to include:
the full property address
nearby landmarks
instructions for parking
public transport options
navigation tips for arriving by car
Providing clear directions improves the guest experience and helps avoid delays during arrival.
π‘ Tip
Include simple navigation instructions and nearby landmarks when creating directions. Guests often find locations faster when they have visual or descriptive guidance in addition to the address.
