The Settings section in the MrGG guest guide allows you to configure languages, different types of payments for accommodation, deposits, and upsell services.

Settings in MrGG

These settings apply to the entire guest guide and influence how guests view the content and complete payments.

1. Supported Languages

In the Supported Languages section, you can select the languages that will be available in the guest guide for your guests.

The system uses these languages for translations of content across the different sections of MrGG, including:

• Entry Instructions

• House Manual

• Upsells

• Area Guides

• other parts of the guest guide

⚠️ English is always enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

How to select languages

  1. From the list of languages, select those you want to make available for your guests.

  2. Each selected language will become available as an option in the guest guide.

  3. After selecting the languages, click Save Settings to save the configuration.

Examples of available languages

MrGG supports many languages, including:

• English

• Spanish

• French

• Arabic

• Bulgarian

• Chinese (Simplified)

• Chinese (Traditional)

• Croatian

• Czech

• Danish

• Dutch

• Filipino (Tagalog)

• Indonesian

• Italian

• Japanese

• Korean

• Malay

• Norwegian

• Polish

• Portuguese (Brazil)

• Portuguese (Portugal)

• Romanian

• Russian

• Serbian

• Swedish

• Thai

• Turkish

• Vietnamese

This allows the guest guide to be accessible to international guests and improves their experience during their stay.

2. Payment Processors

In the Payment Processors section, you can define which payment processor will be used by default for different types of payments in the guest guide.

This setting is important for features such as:

• online accommodation payments

• deposits

• additional services (upsells)

Types of payments

Accommodation

This is the payment processor that will be used for:

• accommodation payments

• booking fees

Select the payment processor from the Select Payment Processor dropdown menu.

Deposits

Here you can define the payment processor used for:

• deposits

• damage waivers

• security payments

This setting allows automatic collection of deposits from guests before arrival.

Upsells

This payment processor is used for payments related to:

• additional services

• add-ons

• upsell offers

Examples of upsell services may include:

• late check-out

• airport transfer

• cleaning services

• additional amenities

Available payment processors

From the dropdown menu you can select the available integrations, for example:

• Stripe

• other integrated payment systems

After selecting the appropriate payment processor for each category, click Save Settings to save the configuration.

What to configure in Settings

To ensure the guest guide works optimally, it is recommended to:

• enable the languages most commonly used by your guests

• choose a reliable payment processor for payments

• set a processor for deposits if you collect security deposits

• configure upsell payments if you offer additional services

Well-configured Settings in MrGG help provide a better experience for guests and make it easier to manage payments and communication during the stay
