Steps to Create a Check-out Template

1. Create a new template

Open the Check-out Tasks section from the MrGG menu.

In the top right corner, click the + Add button to create a new check-out template.

A new template will appear where you can add tasks related to leaving the property.

Each template can contain a different set of tasks, depending on the property type or the check-out process.

2. Add check-out tasks

After creating the template, click the + Add Task button to add a new task.

For each task you can define:

• Task Name – the name of the task

• Description – a short description or instructions for the guests

Examples of check-out tasks:

• Turn Things Off – turn off all electrical appliances

• Lock Up – lock all doors and windows

• Return Keys – return the keys to the lockbox

These tasks will be displayed to guests in the guest guide as a clear list of steps before leaving.

Once you create the task, it will appear in the check-out task list.

3. Edit or delete tasks

For each created task, you can use the options menu to:

• edit the task

• duplicate the task

• delete the task

This allows you to easily adapt the check-out instructions for different properties or situations.

4. Arrange the tasks

Tasks in the template are displayed in a specific order.

It is recommended to arrange them in a logical sequence, for example:

  1. Turn off appliances

  2. Collect personal belongings

  3. Lock the property

  4. Return the keys

This makes it easier for guests to follow the steps before leaving.

5. Select the properties

In the Assigned Listings section, you can choose which properties will use this check-out template.

Here you can:

• add all properties

• add only selected properties

• remove properties from the template

This allows you to use different check-out instructions for different types of properties.

What to Include in Check-out Tasks

To make the check-out process clear for guests, it is recommended to include:

• turning off electrical appliances

• locking doors and windows

• returning keys or access cards

• taking out the trash

• leaving the property in good condition

Well-configured Check-out Tasks in MrGG help guests leave the property properly and make it easier to prepare for the next reservation.

💡 Tip

Try to create a short and clear list of tasks that guests can easily complete in just a few minutes before leaving. This improves the guest experience and reduces the likelihood of missed steps.
