To login with your Shelly cloud account, you need to navigate to the Shelly integration in the apps section.
This will bring you to the Shelly accounts page, where you will see the button to login with your account.
After clicking the button this action will redirect you to the Shelly login page. Here you need to login with your cloud account credentials.
After a successful log in, you will see all of your devices. Devices that were given access to from another account will not show up here. You must be the owner and administrator of the devices that you want to manage.
When giving access to the device, first choose Enable Integration For This Device and this will expand the second option to allow device control, choose them both and click SAVE.
After giving access to the devices that you want to manage, go back to Hostify and link the device to the listing that it belongs to.
Link the Shelly device to the desired listing.
Navigate to the Devices tab and choose the listing that will operate with this device. You can choose multiple listings if the device is positioned in a common area and you can also give a label for the device as there could be multiple devices from different owners.
After linking the device to the listing, you must create the automation that will trigger the action depending on the conditions that you set up.
Go to the Shelly Automations tab and choose Add New.
This will load the Add New automation form. From here choose the name and schedule of the automation, then choose for which devices it needs to work with.
After choosing all of the settings, click Create Command. When the next reservation comes for the listing, an automation triggers should be created in the list of tasks.
Creating Notifications is similar to creating device actions. You must choose from the tabs when creating an automation to be of type notification.
In this example we have created a notification to send a message to the host if there is motion detected but no current reservation at the location.
If you want to pair the Shelly BLU Button 1 with the notifications, you will have to activate its ability to trigger actions in the Devices tab.
This will expand the device direct controls window where you need to choose the setting Trigger Shelly Action to be active.
Afterwards you can choose in the Notifications tab from the Trigger Event list the "Button short press", and from the Basic information section you can choose "Mark dirty" and "Mark checked out", for example.
Then click on the create message button and the automation will be created. Then after the guest clicks the Shelly BLU Button with a Button short press, the property will be marked as dirty and the reservation as checked out. A message will be sent as well. A similar automation can be created for the cleaning crew, for example.
Creating Asana tasks with the Shelly BLU Button 1
The process is similar to the Create Notification Automation but instead go to the Asana app in the applications list. Then in the "Schedule to" filter choose one of the Shelly button's available actions.
