What's new: You can now complete the entire connection process yourself — no need to wait for Hostify Support to accept connection requests.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following before starting:
At least one property with an active connectivity request from Booking.com to Hostify
Your Booking.com Legal ID or the email address associated with your Booking.com account
Note: You must create a separate Hostify account for each Legal ID you use on Booking.com.
Option A — Connect an Existing Booking.com Property
Use this path if your property already exists on Booking.com and you want to manage it through Hostify.
Step 1 — Connect Your Booking.com Account
In Hostify, go to Channels → Booking.com and click Connect New Account.
Enter your Booking.com Legal ID or the email address linked to your account.
Click Connect Booking.com. You'll be redirected to Booking.com, where you can submit bulk connectivity requests to Hostify for your properties.
Step 2 — Connect Pending Properties
Once connectivity requests have been submitted from Booking.com, your properties will appear in the Import tab in Hostify.
For each property, choose a connection type:
Connection Type | What Hostify manages |
Single Unit | Content, rates, and availability |
Multi-Unit | Rates and availability only |
Click Add (for new connections) or Reconnect (for previously connected properties).
You'll be redirected to the Multi-Unit tab or the Single Unit mapping page depending on your selection. Connected properties will then appear under the corresponding tab.
Option B — Create a New Booking.com Listing from Hostify
Use this path if you want to publish a new property to Booking.com directly from Hostify using the Clone feature.
Step 1 — Clone the Listing
Go to Listings in Hostify and open the parent listing you want to clone.
Click Clone.
From the Target Integration dropdown, select Booking Direct and click Next.
Step 2 — Fill in the Required Details
Complete all mandatory fields before saving:
New listing nickname
Cleaning fee
Instant booking category
Cancellation policy
Price markup (if applicable)
Contact details
Click Save Changes.
Step 3 — Verify the Cloned Listing
Once cloned, the new listing will appear under the Children section of the parent listing. The initial synchronization status will show as Being Built.
Booking.com may take up to 24 hours to review the listing before it becomes Open/Bookable.
Before listing the property, compare the child listing in Hostify with the listing in the Booking.com Extranet to confirm all details match accurately.
Step 4 — Check Default Settings
Before going live, review the following defaults:
The default rate in Hostify should match the rate set on Booking.com.
Booking Synchronization Type is set to Everything by default. You can change this to Rates and Availability only if preferred.
All synchronizations between the parent and Booking.com child listing are set to ON by default.
Step 5 — List the Property
When you're satisfied with the setup, go to the Property tab and click List to publish the property. The synchronization status will update to Open/Bookable and the listing will go live.
Bed Type Mapping
Hostify automatically maps your bed types to the closest Booking.com equivalent. No manual configuration is required.
Hostify Bed Type | Booking.com Equivalent |
Single XL, Single, Hammock, Air Mattress | 1 – Single bed |

Ensure the default rate in Hostify matches the rate on Booking.com before going live.
