You can easily set up a new auto pricing rule in Hostify by going to Automations -> Auto pricing.
On the top right corner, you will see an “Add” button. Once you have clicked on it, you will be redirected to the create page. There you can set two rule types:
• Upcoming vacancy:
Apply for a period - this is a certain period where you want to apply the auto pricing.
Days Ahead - this type applies the rule “x” amount of days ahead from the “today” date aka. rolling dates (ex. if you choose to lower the price by 10GBP 5 days ahead - it will apply the rule for the next 5 days. Tomorrow it will apply the rule for the next 5 days and so on.)
• Gaps - This rule allows you to set a period and the gaps amount (= or <=). Basically this rule is applied whenever a gap is formed by two reservations or blocked periods.(ex. You choose 2 days gap for the auto pricing rule. On a listing “X” you have reservation with check out today and another reservation came in with check in after two days from the today's date. There will be formed a 2 days gap between the reservations, so the auto pricing rule will be applied with the selected settings.)
Below you can set actions such as:
• Increase the amount by a % or a certain value;
• Decrease the amount by a % or a certain value;
• Set the amount to a certain value.
Lastly you can select on which listing/s you want to apply the rule.
