Before we start
Make sure you are logged in with your email and password and not via a Google account or Facebook. If you are logged in via a Google account or Facebook, please log out and log in with your email and password. You might have to reset your password in order to do so.
Also, make sure that you are already logged in the Airbnb itself and you have only one Airbnb tab opened.
Consider this before connecting your account with Realtime sync connection :
Any imported iCals on the existing listing are unlinked when it becomes API-connected. This may open up dates that were previously blocked by iCals. After the connection is made, check the listing’s availability and make necessary updates through API.
The existing listing is converted to Instant Book if it was previously Request to Book.
Custom pricing and availability settings, such as discounts and seasonal rules are cleared in preparation to receive this information from your application.
Most listing settings options will become unavailable on Airbnb side and you will have to make them in Hostify.
If you have shared service fee, according to a previous communication from Airbnb, the following property types change to Host-only service fee upon connection:
aparthotel, bnb, boutique_hotel, farm_stay, hostel, hotel, lodge, timeshare, minsu, casa_particular, pension, pousada, resort, ryokan, heritage_hotel or serviced_apartment.
Make sure to confirm how your service fee is after connection.
After the connection is complete, perform all necessary updates as quickly as possible.
Note : Co-Host accounts should not be connected.
Connecting an Airbnb account to Realtime sync connection is easy :
Click the Connect button for the account that you want to connect to Realtime sync connection
This will open a pop-up window, which will reveal a "Connect with Airbnb" button.
2. Click on the "Connect with Airbnb" button. The system will lead you to Airbnb and there you will have to accept the connection with Hostify.
3. Read and accept Airbnb Additional terms of Service, then click the Allow button.
4. Return to Hostify using the Return to Hostify button provided from Airbnb, to proceed.
5. The system will require you to enter an internal nickname for your account.
You can save the one you already have.
6. After a successful connection, Hostify will start updating your listings from Airbnb.
Note: A new integration may take up 18 hours to sync to Hostify.
