A payment request is a fast and simple way of asking your guests for money.
It works for Stripe and PayPal.
To send a payment request you must have connected Stripe account and the guest must first have officially booked your property.
You will find the Payment request feature on each reservation page in Transactions section.
In the opened modal you will see the following options
Processor - here you select the desired Stripe account.
Amount - the amount that you want the guest to pay
Action type - here you select the charge type, there are two options
Type - the type of the service that you want the guest to pay, there are four options
Description - here you enter info about the payment request. Added information will show to the guest on the payment request page.
As an additional feature, there is an option to sent to the guest a direct notification message with custom text and Payment request link via three options :
Channel - the message can be sent via the booking channel communication option.
Email - the message can be sent directly to the guest's email or custom email.
Phone - the message can be sent directly to the guest's phone as SMS or custom phone number.
After sending a payment request a transaction in status Pending will be created.
Which you can track from the reservation page -> Transactions section or from Transactions page.
When the guest pays, the transaction will automatically change its status to Captured.
