How to Clone a Listing from Hostify into Booking.com

By cloning your listings into the Booking.com platform fоrm, you're enabled to offer your listings to a wider audience and increase revenue.

Pre-requisite:

Please note that before proceeding with the steps that are showcased below, it's extremely important to set up the integration between your Hostify and Booking.com account correctly. Please navigate to this help desk article to learn more how to do that in the most efficient manner.


How to Clone a Listing from Hostify into Booking.com

To clone a listing from your Hostify account into Booking.com, please follow these steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Listings section in your Hostify account and select a Parent listing which you want to clone > Clone:

  2. From the Target integration drop-down, select Booking Direct > Next:

  3. Fill in all the mandatory field on the form - New Listing Nickname, Cleaning fee, Policies, Contacts > Save changes:

  4. Once you're ready with cloning the listing, you can find the Cloned listing underneath the Children page of the Parent listing:


5. The Booking.com listing will be initially with sychronization status to Booking.com XML: Being built.

Please note it may take up to 24-hours Booking.com to review the listing before it can be Listed and become in status: Open/Bookable.


For your reference:

ℹ️ Please note to make sure the default rate in Hostify matches the rate in Booking.com.

ℹ️ Please note that by default, the Booking synchronization type will be set to Everything:

You can select the Rates and Availability option from the same drop-down menu.

ℹ️ Please note that by default all the Synchronizations between Parent and Booking.com child listing will be set to ON.

6. When you're done with adjusting all the settings, the last mandatory step is to navigate to Property and List it from Property tab:

The synchronization status will be changed to Open/Bookable and it will go live.

ℹ️ Please remember that it's a good practice to compare the Child listing and your listing in Booking.com to make sure that the information matches precisely well. This is a strongly recommended step before Listing the property in Hostify.
