If you wish to use different from direct charge payment methods with Stripe and your WP you could do so, following some easy steps.
First part—Stripe's part:
Activate your payment methods in your Stripe account (Stripe dashboard → Settings → Payments):
Payment methods that are active for your account will be visible and could be activated (NOTE at this moment, we still do not have webhooks for bank transfer. If you choose this option, and you receive payment via bank transfer our system will preview it as success, but we will not be notified when and if the payment is completed).
Be aware that some payment methods will need more actions in Stripe from your end, like Apple Pay, where you should list your domain following Stripe's steps provided.
After you list all of your desired payment methods, the last thing to do is to choose Direct configuration to be Hostify:
Second part—WP's settings part:
To use different payment methods in your WP, you will need to update to WP plugin version 1.9.22.1 or higher:
Go to WP admin → Plugins → Hostify Booking engine plugin:
After you update clear our plugin's chache.
Admin options
From Admin options, activate Stripe payment element form (NOTE if you are not in touch with our team to use our API v3 option, please do not activate it):
Options
Go to options, and chose Redirect on payment success to No redirect (so if redirection to a bank, Klarna or similar method could be done):
Pages
Create payment result page:
After all your settings added, clear cache:
This is it—now you could use all payment methods that you added in your Stripe account.
Important note: Not all payment methods will give you possibility to charge CC after the reservation was done. If you don't see charge Stripe customer in your reservation page after new accepted reservation, this means that the payment method is not available for such charges.
