The Asana auto tasks can be created/edited from the Apps or Automation section -> Asana.

When you want to create or edit an auto task you just need to follow few steps:

  • Hostify Settings

  1. Choose the active - ON/OFF

  2. Select when you want to schedule the auto task.

  3. Select the listings which you want to have that task.

  4. Choose whether you want the auto task to be applied for new listings that will enter in Hostify.

  5. Select if you want to delete the Asana tasks when the reservations are cancelled.

  6. Lastly choose if you want to sync the existing reservations (reservations which are already in Hostify) with the task that you are creating.

Here is an example of how to setup this section:

  • Asana Settings

Hostify will automatically sync your Asana data, but if something is missing, simply click on the Refresh Asana Data button from the top right corner of the page where you are at.

  1. Choose the workspace from Asana.

  2. Here you have two options:
    * To choose an existing project from Asana;
    * Dynamically create a new project with each task. In the name of the project you can use our dynamic variables.

  3. There are two options as well:
    * To choose an existing section from Asana;
    * Dynamically create a new section with each task. In the name of the section you can use our dynamic variables.

  4. Select the assignee/s from the provided list with assignees received from Asana.

  5. Choose the tags.

  6. Write the Title of the task which will appear in Asana. You can use reservation data here as well with the help of our dynamic variables.

  7. Write a note for the task, if needed. Here the usage of the dynamic variables is available as well.

  8. Choose a subtask, in case you need it.
